I was so excited when Rose contacted me to photograph Jossem for his first birthday! I photographed him when he was a newborn and fell in love with him and his sweet family. I can hardly believe it's be a whole year already though! I'm so thankful for clients that continue to trust me with the important milestones in their families even though it means that time is trotting right by us. I can honestly say that while I adore photographing birth and babies and everything in between, I am the most touched by spending the first year with my clients and getting the opportunity to capture their littles grow and change. As a mother of two I can relate to how fast it goes by but at the same time how those sleepless nights can seem to drag on for months and months. It's such a bittersweet year full of ups and downs and huge changes as we become families, mothers and fathers. If you can't tell by previous blog posts, I like to talk mushy feelings ;) But I know you came to see pictures so I won't delay you any longer! So, this little dude has the most killer brown eyes E.V.E.R. I am a total sucker for brown eyes (I'm pretty sure I've said that before!) and so obviously when I went to his house I literally could not stop taking pictures! As you can see... there are a ton of his sweet face!
Hi again, everyone! I have a hard time facing the fact that little Bennett is already a whole year old. I was invited by this family to share in their journey when Bennett was still in his Mama's belly. I photographed them as a family of three, going on four and then I was there when this sweet boy made his way into this world! I am literally speechless with gratitude every time I witness a Mama's strength bringing her baby earthside and allowing me to be there to capture those moments. Since then I've photographed Bennett's first year of life from newborn to one year old. It has been and always is such a pleasure to be able to watch my client's families grow.
Before I share Bennett's one year photos, I wanted to share a few from his maternity, birth, newborn, 4 month and 8 month sessions. I tried not to pick too many! I have loved spending this time with this family and love having the opportunity to create memories like these for them and for all of my clients.
And that brings us to Mr. Bennett's one year photos!

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog today – I'm glad to have you here! Remember baby Maxwell? It feels like just yesterday I was crouched in front of him snapping pictures like a maniac at his newborn session. I was really looking forward to seeing him again to see how he had changed over the past three months. And oh my goodness, how he's grown!
He is already intereacting with his big brother Milo and Milo is the sweetest when it comes to his lil' bro! I just love watching new siblings interaact and grow together! :)
Luckily for me, I get to photograph Max and his big brother Milo again in just about a month an a half I think! I'm dying to see how much more he's has changed between now and then!

You.guys. I am so in-love with the photos from this session. First of all, I have to say that my BFF has the most beautiful kids, ever. Not only are they gorgeous but their Mama knows a thing or two about style. Unlike her photographer! ;) I get to photograph these beauties a few times a year and each and every time I am blown away by how natural they are in front of the camera. Now, I have been photographing them since they were born so it's possible they maaaaay be used to having a camera in their faces... but still, they are now ages four and six and judging from our latest session, I think they should be in magazines.
